Mechanical Sun – Yellow Headed Black Bird

This summer has been amazing going for walks around Hide Park in Saskatoon and hearing the Mechanical sounds of the yellow headed black birds. These amazing birds are so bright and lively I just needed to paint one as part of my Marsh Birds series, which does not only contain marsh birds haha. The piece is named Mechanical Sun for the yellow headed black bird’s call and the bright golden coloration.
