The Gift

I just recently finished this commissioned piece, it’s a 16×20 watercolor on 300lb Arches cold pressed watercolor paper and mounted to a 1 5/8th cradled art board and sealed using Dorland’s cold wax medium.
This commission was one of my fastest commissions, taking about 2 weeks from start to finish (where I only really worked on it during weekends and evenings). All in all I think it turned out pretty good and the couple was very pleased with the final piece 🙂
On a side note I recently ordered more ampersand aquabord’s to do some more testing on.

Also the title is because it was a gift for the guy’s girlfriend, so I thought it was fitting.
